We're pleased to announce that the Wednesday evening chess group in Burntwood has become its own club: Burntwood Chess Club. We started life as part of Norton Canes Chess Club, and we're grateful for everything that got us here — but Burntwood now has a chess club to call its own.
Nothing changes about the session itself: we still meet every Wednesday at 7:00 PM at Grangemoor Working Mens Club, 112 Cannock Rd, Burntwood, WS7 0BG. Everyone is welcome — players of all ages and abilities, complete beginners, and anyone who just fancies a game and a chat. There's no membership fee; we simply ask that you buy a drink from the bar while you play.
